Edgar Lushaju
Is a Graduate Architect and Illustrator
based in Southampton, UK
I am drawn to simple forms and shapes where the intricacies are in the details and the complexity of function. I am intrigued by projects that manage to synthesize contemporary functional forms from methods and techniques that would otherwise seem crude but produce practical, context-appropriate and relatively easy to replicate results.

I am interested in ways that very good architecture or architecture that works, can be more streamlined in terms of accessibility to the end/intended user.

I love learning about new architectural creative initiatives and projects happening around the world.
As an artist, I enjoy painting, drawing, sketching and writing music. I do not necessarily associate with a singular form expression, but rather prefer exploring different means that will help me get to my required result, it could be oil paints, charcoal pencils or digital illustrations.

I am intrigued by the ways that art can work beyond the emotive and cause a reaction, one that generates a change for the better. I love the experience of visual storytelling and how complex intricate but vital realities can be represented in ways that are familiar.
I am driven by creativity , design and people oriented solutions.
